How to connect XPS with your VALD API

1. Contact VALD support or your VALD account manager and ask for the following information which is needed to access the VALD API

  • Your region (AU East, EU West or US East)
  • Client ID
  • Client Secret

2. Inside XPS Settings press the VALD button

3. Select your region and fill in your Client ID and Client Secret that you received from VALD in step 1.

Then press the Update Tenants button and select your club from the Select Tenants list below the button.

4. Go to User Management in XPS sidebar and map each XPS athlete/player to the corresponding athlete in the VALD API. You do so by right-clicking on the athlete in XPS and selecting Connect VALD Athlete. Then find and select the corresponding athlete in the "Select athlete to map" window that appears.

After mapping your athletes, you should have access to the VALD performance data in your XPS Monitoring and Reports sections.
